FENTANYL PILL SEIZURES - A new report highlights how fentanyl pill seizures are skyrocketing. According to the report, nearly *half of illicit fentanyl seized by U.S. law enforcement now comes in pill form. These counterfeit pills are especially dangerous because they are made to look like prescription medication. According to the International Journal of Drug Policy, last year more than 115 million pills containing fentanyl were seized by law enforcement, compared to over 71 million in 2022. Nicole D'Antonio joins us live in Washington with the new report and the ongoing efforts to crack down.
