  • Morning temperatures are nearly 20 degrees cooler than Tuesday morning after a cold front pushed through and brought a refreshing change.  Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says we’ll have a pretty fall day across NE Florida with low humidity and afternoon temperatures in the mid-70’s.  Expect sunny skies throughout the day, a big change over Tuesday’s thunderstorms which produced multiple severe weather warnings.  Onshore winds develop tonight and will usher in a few more clouds. A shower is possible south of the metro area on Thursday as highs climb back to the upper 70’s. Scattered showers develop on Friday and into the weekend. While the weekend is not going to be washout, there will be times of heavy downpours.  In the tropics, the First Alert Weather Team is tracking a cluster of showers and storms over the Yucatan Peninsula. This disorganized area of showers and storms will emerge over the SW Gulf of Mexico tomorrow night and has a low threat of developing on Friday before a cold front absorbs it and sweeps it away.
